Logic Controllers Hardwiring
Prerequisites:
- Technical Math (# 800.000) or equivalent knowledge.
- Basic Electrical Overview (# 600.100) or equivalent knowledge.
- Electrical Drawings and Controls (# 600.110) or equivalent knowledge.
- Introduction to Motor Starters (#600.120) or equivalent knowledge.
- Applied Electrical Series (#620.000) or equivalent knowledge.
Course Length and Maximum Class Size:
6 Classroom hours held in (2) 3-hour sessions.
Maximum class size is 18.
Objective:
To provide an overview of PLCs including hardware components, number
systems, and codes, and the basics of programming and applications.
