Course Title: Introduction to Programmable Logic
Controllers
Prerequisites:
- Technical Math (# 800.100) or equivalent knowledge.
- Basic Electrical Overview (# 600.100) or equivalent knowledge.
- Electrical Series (#600.200)
Course Length and Maximum Class Size:
24 Classroom hours given in (8) 3 hour sessions. Maximum class size is 18.
Objective:
To provide an overview of PLCs including hardware components, number
systems, and codes, and the basics of programming and applications.
