Course Title:         Use of Hand Tools

Course Length and Maximum Class Size:

3 Classroom hours given in one session. Maximum class size is 20.

Objective:

Attendees should leave with a basic understanding of the safe and proper way to use assorted hand tools.

Content:

The proper and safe use of the following will be presented:

Portable Presses, Manual & Power Saws, Reamers, Taps, Tread-cutting Devices, Manual Grinding, Impact Wrenches, Pulse Tools, Drill Motors, Sanders/Polishers, Knives, and Pliers,

Beneficial to:

Those planning to use assorted hand tools.

Equipment Needed for instruction:

TV with VCR, Dry erase board or chalk board, overhead projector
