Course Title: Fundamentals of Statistical Process Control

Course Length and Maximum Class Size:

18 Classroom hours held in (6) 3-hour session. Maximum class size is 25.

Objective:

Participants will acquire a comprehensive understanding of SPC and learn step by step implementation of SPC to meet the quality and performance goals of an organization by using decisions based upon reliable facts, data, and analysis for best results.

Content:

    1. Applying statistical thinking to quality improvement.
    2. Selecting appropriate control charts for different applications
    3. Interpreting variability in work processes
    4. Developing and analyzing run charts, variables data charts, and attributes data charts
    5. Quantifying process capability through data analysis and control charts
