Course Title: Beginning Microsoft Project 2000

Prerequisite:  Knowledge of personal computer fundamentals, experience working within the Microsoft Windows environment, a reasonable degree of keyboard proficiency and experience using a mouse.

Course Length and Maximum Class Size:

9 Classroom hours held in (3) 3-hour sessions.

Maximum class size is 10.

Objective:

Participants will learn how to make Project work in conjunction with Word and Excel, as well as how to link a project to a Web page.

  • Creating a project schedule
  • Saving a project
  • Introduction to tasks
  • Linking tasks
  • Allocating resources to tasks
  • Creating task calendars
  • Assigning a deadline to tasks

Computers, Overhead projector, Books
